How to fix double click issue on mouse device
Hi guys, this is my own experience.
My eight
Here is how I fixed it, alone, without any kind of outside help:
1. Disconnect any mouse cable from PC.
2. Now, do this: mass clicking all of the buttons on it like crazy! When I said crazy, I mean it! Just clicks as fast as you can for about minimum of 2 minutes.
3. Connect back your mouse into PC.
That's it!
Wow! Thanks for this piece of advice. I was about to open the mouse and clean the "connectors"...
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot. Really wasn't expecting much of such a simple trick, but it actually worked wonders. Thanks for saving my time and sanity.

ReplyDeleteThanks! Worked for my Xai. Also, how does this work? Whats the key? Unplugging? Spam clicking?
ReplyDeleteStatic electricity builds up in the switches, spam-clicking w/ no power discharges it.
Deleteholy shit, this is actually work on my steelseries sensei raw
ReplyDeleteHey man millions thanks dude! Love u <3

Damn this made my day... thanks a lot bro!
ReplyDeleteIt works on beginning. One day it will not work anymore, and your mouse will double click almost continuously.
ReplyDeleteAre you sure?
DeleteThe whole thing this corrects is static buildup in the switches, which is usually due to low-humidity environments. I would suggest trying your mouse with a humidifier nearby
DeleteThis really fixed my steelseries Rival mouse.

ReplyDeleteWTF how did this work? was there something stuck underneath the button or was the purpose was to drain the remaining electricity from the mouse by unplugging it clicking continously?
